This is my second Zojirushi rice cooker. I've owned many brands over the years. But after owning two Xojirushi rice cookers I'll never own any other brand.

It signals when it's finished and keeps it warm if you desired. Cooking time is a little longer than my old rice cooker, but the micro-chipped machine keeps track of the precise cooking time Can say anything about its durability since I've only had it a few weeks.
