    Great steamer, this is my second one. First one lasted almost 20 years. It's a shame sunbeam doesn't make it anymore. Hoping to get 20 years out of this one!

    The Sunbeam SUN-4710 makes real steam!

    I had one that lasted for over 5 years. It finally gave up and bit the dust...I have had several other makes and models that I was very disappointed with...You see, the (4710) draws the water through tubing underneath. The water is then turned into steam using a heating element and forced up through the center rod to be circulated all around the cooking basket. Unlike all the other units, which have a heating element that boils the water and sorta turns it into steam. You might as well boil a Pot of water on the stove and use one of them baskets that sit down in the pot...The only disadvantage of the(4710) is that the tubing tends to get clogged up, just like a coffee maker does. (Hard water-Lime deposits) I run straight vinegar through it every so often to keep it free flowing. I also ...

    We've used these little steamers for years. It never disappoints. I like the older models sometimes just for parts. We will always try to find these on Ebay. Great little steamer.
